ASPION receives Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg Innovation Award 2025 – second recognition in just four years<\/h1>\n

Stuttgart \/ Karlsruhe, 14 November 2025. <\/strong>Karlsruhe-based ASPION GmbH has been awarded the Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg Innovation Award 2025 – Dr. Rudolf Eberle Prize for its ASPION L-Track IoT multi-sensor data logger. This is the second time in just four years that the company has impressed the jury with a market-ready innovation. The award ceremony for the prize, which is endowed with 50,000 euros, took place on November 13, 2025, in Stuttgart. The award was presented by Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut to the two ASPION managing directors, Martina and Michael W\u00f6hr.<\/p>\n

A high-ranking jury decides on the awarding of the prize, evaluating the submitted innovations according to three key criteria: technical progress, outstanding entrepreneurial achievement, and sustainable economic success. ASPION GmbH meets all three criteria to a particularly high degree with the ASPION L-Track. “The fact that ASPION has managed to be among the recipients of the Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg Innovation Award twice in just four years is something very special. This continuity in the development of marketable, technologically leading solutions is a strong sign of a sustainable culture of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit,” says Helmut Jahnke, head of the Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg Patent and Trademark Center, which organizes the Innovation Award on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.<\/p>\n

Intelligent IoT innovation with added value for industry and logistics<\/strong><\/p>\n

With ASPION L-Track, ASPION is setting new standards in intelligent transport and condition monitoring. The system combines a robust, expandable multi-sensor device for worldwide use with a flexible IoT cloud platform and a usage-based business model that adapts precisely to the respective customer requirements.<\/p>\n

The out-of-the-box solution was developed for a wide range of applications for manufacturers, service providers, and industrial and logistics companies. Whether for impact-critical monitoring of high-value machine transports, climate condition monitoring during transport or in stationary storage, tracking of load carriers, or packaging optimization based on real stress profiles, ASPION L-Track can be individually adapted to different requirements. The ASPION L-Track was developed entirely in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg – from the electronics and software architecture to the cloud infrastructure. At its heart is the GDPR-compliant ASPION cloud solution “Made & Hosted in Germany,” which is based on Deutsche Telekom’s scalable “Cloud of Things” and operated in German data centers. It offers maximum data security, ease of use, and features such as map visualization, alerts, and user management.
